Nubia land is an exceptional archaeological site located in Nasser Lake, marked by memorable monuments such as the temples of Ramses II at Abu Simbel, Amada, Derr, those of wadi Es Sebuah, Dakka, Maharraqah, kiosk Kartassi, and the Sanctuary of Isis at Philae, which were saved from the Nile flood caused by the construction of the Aswan Dam, by the UNESCO international campaign which began in 1960 and ended in 1980.
