The two Temples of Abu Simbel, with their unique style, are considered to be the masterpieces of ancient Egypt. They reflect the glory and grandeur of the new Kingdom. The Egyptian government and UNESCO decided to co-operate in order to save these temples from the flood. The Temple of Ramsses II was dedicated to the four universal gods Ptah, Re-Her-Akhtey, Amun-Re, and to Ramsses II himself. The great Abu Simbel temple is also called The Sun Temple of RamssessII.The Temple of Queen Nefertari is also Called Temple of Hathor who was the wife of the Sun God so in a symbolic way, the two Temples, that of Ramsses II and that of Nefertari, bring Ramesses II, Nefertari, Hathor and the Sun God together as one.

Enchanting you with melodious music, and bringing the ancient world to life around you, the show includes projections into the temples showing how they once looked. The program is presented in a number of languages with the provision of earpieces. It is an experience not to be missed, one that will make your visit to Abu Simbel the memory of a lifetime.

Early sail to Kasr Ibrim.
Breakfast followed by morning met by your personal guide who will accompany you by car with air conditioning to visit:The Citadel of Kasr Ibrim
The Citadel of Kasr Ibrim was once a mighty city high above the Nile River; but because of the construction of the Aswan High Dam, it now looks like a cluster of islands. Although people are not permitted on the island; most of our Lake Nasser tours include a stop near the island so that passengers may take some fantastic photos.
You will have your lunch on the cruise.
Later on you will join your guide to visit:
Amada Temple
Pharaoh Thutmose III of the 18th dynasty originally built the Temple of Amada, the earliest Egyptian temple in Nubia, and dedicated it to Amun and Re-Horakhty. The building’s initial plan called for a portico that led to a sanctuary, a courtyard, and a pylon. On the other hand, the pillars and walls “were decorated with offering scenes, with those involving Thutmosis IV on the left” and Thutmose III and Amenhotep II on the right, when Thutmose IV roofed the open forecourt. The temple’s interior features include some of the most exquisitely etched reliefs with vivid hues, despite its drab and deteriorating appearance.
Then you will visit the Temple of Derr
This makes the Temple of Derr a particular treasure because of its original position on the eastern shore of the Nile where very few other structures were placed, and also because it is a remarkably fine example of the pharaoh’s preferred rock cut style. Ramssess II is undoubtedly one of the most recognizable figures in Egyptian history because of his long and victorious reign, and the many temples and structures he built during this period.
Finally you will visit the Tomb Of Pennut
One of the rarest sites in Egypt may be seen if you take the straightforward trail that goes away from the two temples: a rock-cut tomb that belonged to a Viceroy of Kush. This particular tomb is particularly interesting because, like the temples nearby, it was moved from its original site to protect it from flooding caused by the Aswan High Dam during its building in the 1960s.After finishing your day tours , you will be back to your cruise where later on you will attend a cocktail party and then a very nice Nubian show on board of the cruise.

Wadi El Seboua
The Arabic name, which was given to this temple during Ramesses II’s reign, means “Valley of the Lions,” alluding to the avenue lined with sphinxes that leads up to it. Its untidy exterior and isolated setting provide the impression that guests are discovering this shrine for the first time.
The interior sanctuary of the temple is cut out of the bedrock, although the outside is mostly built of stone blocks. Only two of the temple’s three pylons that were originally available have survived.
You will have your lunch on the cruise.

Breakfast followed by morning met by your personal guide who will accompany you to visit:
Temple of Kalabsha
Under the leadership of the Roman Emperor Augustus, the temple’s construction was finished after it had started at the end of the Ptolemaic Dynasty. The end product is an intriguing fusion of Roman and Egyptian motifs, with pictures of pharaohs and Roman emperors worshiping alongside Egyptian deities. The temple was erected in honor of Mandulis, a Nubian deity.
It has a large pylon that forms a closed area and is connected to the rest of the complex by a wall. A fantastic view of the lake and the High Dam can be had from the roof, which is accessible by stairs.
