Day by Day Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Sharm El Sheikh – Transfer to St. Catherine

Upon arrival at Sharm El Sheikh airport, you will be warmly welcomed and transferred to the serene town of Saint Catherine.

Nestled among dramatic mountain landscapes, this peaceful destination sets the tone for your adventure. After check-in at a Bedouin camp located at the foot of the mountains, enjoy a traditional dinner in a tranquil garden setting.

Spend your first night surrounded by silence and starlight, preparing for the trekking journey ahead.

Day 2: Wadi Zawatine Trek

After breakfast, begin your trekking journey through the stunning valley landscapes of Sinai. Walk for approximately three hours through Nakab Abu Jifa, a valley rich with olive trees, fig orchards, and pomegranate gardens.

Pause at midday for a relaxing lunch in nature, then continue walking for another two hours, immersing yourself in the peaceful surroundings.

Day 3: Mount Abbas Basha Trek

Begin your day with a steady climb toward Mount Abbas Basha, reaching an altitude of approximately 700 meters. At the summit, you’ll discover the remains of a historic palace and enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding mountains.

After lunch and a short rest, continue trekking for two more hours through rugged terrain until you reach Farsh Al Romana.

Relax by the campfire in the evening, sharing stories under the stars before settling in for the night.

Day 4: Mount Al-Bab (Door of Life)

Today’s trek takes you to Jebel Al-Bab, known as the “Door of Life,” rising to about 900 meters above sea level. The climb offers both a physical challenge and a deeply rewarding sense of achievement.

After enjoying lunch with incredible mountain views, continue hiking through scenic valleys until you reach Wadi Serbal.

Spend the evening in a peaceful camp setting, surrounded by the raw beauty of the Sinai desert.

Day 5: Mount Serbal Exploration

Set out toward Mount Serbal, one of the most impressive peaks in Sinai, often referred to as the “Mount of Blessing.”

Enjoy a moderate trek through diverse terrain before stopping for lunch. After a rest, continue walking toward Wadi Al Shag, where you may have the chance to swim in a natural desert pool—a refreshing highlight of the journey.

End the day with dinner and relaxation under the open sky.

Day 6: Mount Saint Catherine Trek

Today’s adventure takes you to the summit of Mount Saint Catherine, the highest mountain in Egypt. The hike lasts approximately four hours and rewards you with breathtaking panoramic views.

At the summit, you’ll find a small chapel and historic religious relics, some dating back centuries. After lunch and rest, descend toward Wadi Al Arbaine, also known as the Valley of the 40 Martyrs.

Enjoy a peaceful evening in camp, reflecting on the journey so far.

Day 7: Mount Sinai & Saint Catherine’s Monastery
